Technicolour Yawn

8 October – 4 November, Private View Monday 8th 7-9pm. Opening times Thurs – Sun 11 – 6pm | KARST, 22 George Place, Stonehouse, Plymouth, PLY 3NY.

Who? KARST presents Technicolour Yawn, Curated by Nadim Samman, featuring Steve Bishop, Ed Fornieles, James Howard, Shana Moulton, Ryan Trecartin.

What? Technicolour Yawn is a transatlantic take on the queasy culture of obsessive networking and self-exposure, consumer mysticism, and emotional vacuousness. This group exhibition, previously shown in Berlin, will hit the UK to become KARST’s third instalment of contemporary art.  As the title – a euphemism for projectile vomit – suggests, the gallery will be overstuffed with images, video, sounds and smells, immersing the audience in a deluge of stimuli.

When? 8 October – 4 November, Private View Monday 8th 7-9pm. Opening times Thurs – Sun 11 – 6pm
